Love for Bubble & Tori

Even Alamu enjoyed being with Tori

A few days back we had the opportunity to see how much a person
love her pets. In this case two canines called Tor and Bubble.
In fact alamu and me were amazed at how lovingly the pets responded
to the care and calls of their owner.
In fact Tor the small one, it seems was an abused kid, and our Miss
had to spend thousands in medical expenses to bring him to the healthy
state he is in now.

We spent three hours capturing the whole family in their home environment,
as well as in a park beside.

It turned beautiful. attached a two pictures of our experience.

Renewing relationships - a rare experience

How often do we get to meet 30 'boys' who are descendants from a family of seven brothers, gathered to know each other better and record their ancestral relationship in a portrait. Well I was lucky enough to get such a feast for my experience recently.

Poovarasan (not in the picture) is a young and energetic youth in his twenties, with much love for anything family, and its history. He was the lead and inspiration in organizing this project. He contacted all his uncles (decided to keep the aunties for the next round) convinced them of the value and importance of such a family gathering of cousins and recording them in a portrait.

Thousands were spent on buying or stiching, 'jibbas' with color coding to identify the different ancestral lines. 31 of them gathered at Lux Me Images accompanied by a few wives and family members. It was a festival in our studio that morning.

The resulting portrait was finished in two days and exhibited in our booth at the Indian Wedding Expo 2009. The public were amazed with the 'one of a kind family' image.

Some family members were very emotional during and after the recording, for they came to know and meet each other for the first time or after a long interval. I was touched and my eyes welled when the praises of my skills came non stop.

To top it up Poovarasan presented me with a quality full sleeve shirt and my wife Alamu with a beautiful peach green saree. We know that these are from their heart, and will treasure the memories for years to come. We are inspired to make every recording session, a unique experience for our customers.

Cheerfull Ones with Vast Experience

A week ago Me and My experienced wife had a very rare oppurtunity to play host to a gathering of ladies at http://www.luxmeimages.com/ . They were from the PJ chapter of an International Organization. They were everything multi i.e. multi-racial, multi-religious, multi- professionals, multi-size etc, etc.
They celebrated the birthday of one-among-them and enjoyed a cake in no time, and some delecious Vadai that my wife made for the occassion. It is not common to have so many nice ladies in town, in one place, so I took the oppurtunity to do friendly portrait for them.

The result was amazing, everyone liked it as was evident during the photo selection session. Lux Me Images wishes to thank all of them for their presence and the noise they made, causing positive energy to be filled in our space.

Amazing Family

How many members of your family have gathered at one place for some fun and good times? Yes you will say 20 of us meet many times a year at my house, gatherings etc... Congratulations, yours is a family that fall into a "rare family" category. Many families do not get to meet in full- force due to various reasons, one reason being globalization.

Recently I worked with one such rare family in my studio. Thirty seven of them gathered for a formal family portrait. They were referred to us, by one of our earliest customers now living in Miri. I had my doubts, whether I will be able to treat so many subjects in my studio, as the largest group I have had worked with was only 23. I suggested an outdoor venue, but later decided to push my envelope further.

Now here is a snapshot of my perception and observation of what I feel, is amazing, about this family, They all looked young, charged with energy and spirit, they were humorous and responded to humor sportingly, the siblings and in laws jived well, and made fun of each other. Many of them are in business and that too very successfully, thanks to one among them being a pioneer, has helped pull up many others to very high levels of business achievement. They were diplomatic in their interactions with me, and positive in their thoughts.

On many occasions during the "shoot" they turned on their "roar" Cheered themselves, and applauded to their family gathering at Lux Me Images. They were proud as a family, I could sense it. I was really taken aback by the family bond they exhibited. I appreciate the amount of positive energy they generated and released in our Gallery. It was truly a fantastic experience for me and my wife ,we hope for more such "Amazing Families" in the days to come.

"Celebrate your family"

Mr.K's family had inquired at a couple of photo studios in town, to have their family portrait taken, but did not take up the offer because they considered it on the high side, and the delivery can only happen after six weeks. Mr.K's sister was due to get married in two weeks and that was the trigger that prompted the family to get a family portrait done before she leaves the nest. Imagine,Mr.K and siblings have taken leave from their jobs, got dressed, and simply hit the road, loking for Photo studio, with the determination to achieve their three year goal that day.

The urgency made Mr.K seek the help of his friend through his mobile. The friend mentioned of a studio name "Lux" or so, and asked him to check it out. This is how they walked into Lux Me Images. They saw the gallery, heard my presentation and decided to have portrait done immediately.

The family enjoyed the unique experience of making their portraits, sent in the captions the next day. '...Tang... de... Tang', the wall portrait measuring 24 x 40 tastefully framed was ready for delivery within 24 hours.

This is what Mr.K shared with me when he came to collect the portraits the next day. He was emotional, thanked me for the beautiful portrait, never had his family, ever had such an intimate moment, all bundled within an area of ten sq.ft, laughing and joking, able to feel the family closeness, & warmth, during the session.

He also said that he decided instantly to take up the Lux Me offer the previous day, even though it was three times more than the offer they had declined before coming here, all because of the quality of the work he saw and the wonderful reception they experienced.

I feel elated for having served such a customer, and pleased, to hear such nice words from him. He thanked me profusely for helping them, 'Celebrate their family togetherness'

I have learnt something from Mr.K ... that we should all 'Celebrate our family' before one after the other leave their nest of twenty-three years or so.
After all what will be left for the, 'remaining ones' are only beautiful memories aided by these 'tear-drawing' images on the wall.

"Family squeeze" What is that?

When was the last time, your family of three generations gathered, all well dressed and wanting to look good?
When was the last time, all your family members , including grandparents, bundled into a confined area of 10 sq.ft.?
When was the last time, when all your family members felt each others body warmth, and possibly fragrances?
When was the last time, you had a family portrait done, where every member in it, loves it?
When was the last time, you saw your family portrait, which kindled happy feelings and made you proud of being part of a great family.

Well if you do all the above you will get your "family squeeze"

By the way if you have yet to experienced or achieved any of the above just do a Google search as to where it can be created, and get one done asap. Good luck.
